Are there any restrictions for ATV riders?
ATVs are not allowed on the Portage Lake Lift Bridge that goes over Portage Lake between Hancock and Houghton. Plus, off-road vehicles (ORV) cannot drive on state forest roads when signs are posted that say "Closed to ORV use."
